New design, innovative approach to transmitter control.
Transmitters of the «Polaris TVT» series with the power more than 1000 W are manufactured now with the renewed design and control system. Racks are still of 19 inches but units' front panels were changed. LCD displays and film keyboards on each unit were transformed into a single control unit which is also the monitoring system's unit. There is a 9 inch touchscreen for TX condition analysis, it shows the status of the whole transmitter and the information about all transmitter's unit. Looking at the screen you can estimate the transmitter's performance at a glance. The new approach to TX on-site monitoring keeps the operability of the system, because each unit works independently.

New design of the power amplifier
New protection system. Each amplifying cell is provided with the microcontroller to monitor transistors' conditions; bias is assigned by software; current is under full control and temperature of a cell is monitored. Through the single buswork the information from all cells goes to the central microcontroller which screens this information on the LCD display, polls keyboard statuses and interfaces the remote control system. Such an arrangement allows to significantly increase the level of reliability and protection system's performance.

The most powerful DVB-T amplifier in Russia
The basis for high power digital transmitters is the amplifier unit with the power output power of 1000 W (RMS). By using an amplifier of such power allows to reduce dimensions of the transmitters and ease the power combining circuits.

Liquid cooling
With the development of LDMOS technology the power of transistors used in amplifiers' constantly increases. Power increasing leads to significant heat concentration. Use of the liquid cooling is the most effective way of removing the heat produced by powerful transistors. Use of a liquid as the heat carrier allows to:
· decrease the dimensions of the transmitter
· significantly reduce acoustic noise
· reduce the temperature of active elements
· reduce the transmitters' heat generation
· decrease the expenses for cooling system installation

Remote control system
The system is aimed at remote control and monitoring of the equipment installed in the broadcasting network. The system logs all events occured to the equipment. It consists of the central server which collects the data about the statuses of all devices installed in broadcasting centers: TV transmitters, DVB-T receivers, fire and intrusion detectors.
